The color was perfect, but the material appears to be cheap plastic. Nevertheless, I gave it a try... only to find out that it would not hold an Insinkerator garbage disposal. This is unbelievable since this is by far the most common garbage disposal brand in use today. There was no alternative but to ditch this product... I wound up using a stainless steel set from another manufacturer to compliment the stainless steel faucet that I was using... it turned out to be just as nice in appearance. 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful  Read The Instructions! Plumber could not get this to work with InSinkerator disposal. The plumber installed the SS flange that came with the disposer. Upon looking at the installation instructions (of all places) it stated that this unit installs inside of the SS flange. Just put the rubber splash guard and white foam gasket on the Blanco flange and push into the SS flange. It will click into place very securely. Once installed the flange fits flush with bottom of the sink and provides a smooth transition for the water to flow into the drain. Seems that much of the negative feedback is due to incorrect installation.Two things to note: Looks like you cannot use the "Sound Seal" baffle as it is too thick to work with this flange. Stopper/Strainer may not allow enough flow to keep draining water from the sink. Remove the strainer and the water will flow freely Overall this looks great with the sink. But guess what, it didn't fit. Plus, as a cheaply made plastic product I wouldn't have it in my sink. I am shocked that Blanco would sell such junk. Go with stainless or dark copper. |
